Jennifer Shannon-Martin: Brave (cont'd)

She knew she could be BRAVE because she was His. Isaiah 43:1

After watching a friend’s 5 year old son battle brain cancer, I saw first-hand what BRAVE was.  He sadly lost his battle less than a year after his diagnoses.  Two months later I heard those 3 horrible words: “You have cancer”.  I knew that I had to be BRAVE like Brooks.  Watching him in his fight, I knew what BRAVE looked like, fought like, loved like and believed like.  I am thankful I was the one facing this battle and not my daughters.  I would do it 1000 times again if that meant they will never have to!
